It is a pioneer Center and a cardinal reference in research in Cognitive Sciences in Mexico. We do theoretical, experimental and applied research on various cognitive functions such as perception, language, memory, reasoning, emotions, consciousness, and other functions (human and non-human). We offer two postgraduate programs (Master's and Doctorate), both of excellence registered in the National Register of Quality Postgraduate Studies, and we work in five Disciplinary Areas: Epistemology and Philosophy of Mind, Linguistics and Cognition, Evolutionary Cognitive Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, and in Anthropology and Cognition.
