Jorge Galindo is Professor-Researcher in the Department of Social Sciences at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Cuajimalpa. He holds a degree in Sociology from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Azcapotzalco, a Master's degree in Sociology from the Universidad Iberoamericana-Mexico City and a PhD in Sociology from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Member of the National System of Researchers Level I. Research interests: Classical and contemporary sociological theory, Theories of modernity.
